Today on our walk David thought to take the video camera with us to show the family what we've been raving about. Fortunately before the battery died he was able to capture how happy the puppies get when they are near water.

Our baby girl is 7 Months old Today!

Catching up on the blog. The holidays are here and finals are done! YAY one more semester and I'll be an electrical engineer. How scary and exciting all at the same time. Just a recap this was our first Thanksgiving as a married couple and we were lucky to have my brother in town. He is currently going to the New Mexico Military Institute and plays football for the academy. Go Josh!

Our First Home

This is a walk through our home! Pictures just would not do the trick.

BRUISER AND DADDY GO HUNTING

Life in the Myers' home is finally settling down. I am in school and getting adjusted to life again. David has a week until his job starts in Coolidge, AZ. Our home is nicely furnished... Thanks many to my mother and father in-law. So now that the dust is finally settling I have to catch up on my blogging!
David has asked me repeatedly to post the pictures of this previous weekends hunting trip, so here they are. I promise to get a video of our new home up on the website once everything is clean and in its place. :)

Talk about stopping to smell the flowers

I am proud to say Ms. Lucy has the same hunting skills if not better than Bruiser. This morning while I was scolding both of them for bringing their usual stick inside and shredding it all over the room I realized there was something in Lucy's mouth. Once I told her to drop it I realized she caught a mouse and brought it to bed with her. Lets hope that is the only mouse that I see around here again!

Road Trip To College

ROAD TRIP TO....

YaY!!! Josh is off to college!

LUCY... You have some explaining to do!

So insted of chopping Bruisers beloved boys off we decided to go the alternate route.
We got him a girl to have at home. Her name is Lucy... short for Lucifer :)
Just Kidding. She is a great girl with an extremely small bladder and needle like teeth.

Her world revolves around Bruiser. She has to be by him all the time.

I better get a check in the mail for this pic... it should be in a calendar. I'm thinking January!

David and I are married!!!!!!!

David and I were married 7/11/09 and it was perfect.
The ceremony was in the backyard of my parents house in Alaska. The wedding was very small.
Unfortunately not everyone could be there so there is a video of the ceremony.
My dad not only walked me down the isle, but also performed the ceremony!
All the traditional things happened such as the garter toss, bouquet, the toast, and the first dance. It was a very stress free wedding and it turned out beautifully!

So far in Alaska....

David and I are in Alaska!

It is gorgeous and we are having an awesome time. We took a rode trip to Anchorage and continued the next day to Ninilchick. All along the road trip we saw Mirror Lake and many Moose!

We all walked along the beach before our big fishing day. The beach in Alaska is the only beach I've never worn a bathing suit to in middle of the summer. It was definitely a new experience! Mom and I agree next year we'll go somewhere tropical!

The family, all together caught 90 lbs of Halibut. Seeing that usually cost 18 dollars a lb we did great. In Alaska you are only allowed to bring home 2 per person, so everyone played catch and release for awhile. To everyone's dismay my little sister caught the most halibut but daddy brought in the biggest!

We are all enjoying ourselves immensely on our Alaskan Adventure!

BRUISER IN THE POOL

This video is of Bruiser, (of course thats all I seem to post) and it shows how rambunctious he is especially when we fill up the pool!



So after playing in the pool, he had to be toweled off. Of course Bruiser doesn't like that so he poses to look like the abused poster puppy for "adopt a pet".

Bruiser is going to be 4 months old in 4 days and he already weighs 40 pounds! I have a big boy on my hands

Bruiser Gets To Play

Bruiser is now 3 months!

And in those 3 months we've realized he matches the bedding well,

there is no need to buy many toys since sticks do the trick,

Brusiser loves to sleep on his back unless...

he is cuddling with his daddy,
Bruiser also enjoys sinking his teeth into new technology,

And last but not least, his paws are as big as my arm!

Bruiser is growing up so fast!

My baby brother all grown up
My brother, Josh, has attended 4 different high schools in 4 different states; talk about being yanked around! Joshy has shined like a star at every high school he has attended; especially when it came to girls and athletics.

Josh will be attending and playing football for the New Mexico Military Institute next fall.

I'm so very proud of you Joshy!

You may be all grown up but you will always be my baby brother
